Vice President, Associate General Counsel
Serving as legal counsel for a global team delivering critical wellbeing services in the complex and highly regulated federal contractor space, is challenging, exciting, and truly an honor.
In his role as Chief Legal Officer, Mr. Hughes provides legal and business counsel to the Magellan Federal senior management team on matters such as contract administration, bid protests, internal investigations, and regulatory compliance. With 25 year of diverse industry experience, he previously served in the Air Force’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps, worked in the Government Contracts group at the firm Perkins Coie, and served in legal roles at Anthem and Northrop Grumman before finding a home at Magellan Federal.
Mr. Hughes received his undergraduate degree in Medieval Art History from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
